What can I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit is an initial consult only. We will ask you a series of questions to obtain a complete health history, with a focus on your pain. There will not be any injections or prescriptions given on the first visit.

If the Doctor wants me to have an injection but I am afraid of needles, 
what can I do? Can I go to sleep?

For most of the injections, the physician can administer a “moderate sedation”. The criteria for “moderate sedation” will be reviewed with you during your office visit.

Will I get immediate relief from my pain after the injection?

The amount of pain relief depends on the type of medication administered and the type of injection performed. Treatment plans and results are individual to each patient.
